Abstract

Designing timber facades presents technical challenges such as durability, weathering, dimensional change, corrosion, wind resistance and fire safety demand high standard practice in terms of design, construction and maintenance for these to be successful.


The objective of this book is to develop evidence-based construction details and associated guidance to achieve the best results from timber cladded facades. Through more than 190 pages, the authors provide a deep insight into timber cladding.
