Abstract
A compact of 4 x 4 crescent antennas operating on dual-band frequency in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) application technology, printed on a relatively low dielectric constant substrate is presented. In order to enhance the mutual coupling, the neutralization line technique is applied between the antennas. The scattering parameters for 4 x 4 crescent antennas with and without the neutralization line are presented. Simulated results show the mutual coupling between the antenna arrays for both working frequency of 2.4 and 5.2 GHz are better than -10 dB, with improvement of 3dB for the antennas working on low frequency, other radiation performances were also examined.
