Abstract

In this paper, ratio of product of two k-μ random variables and Nakagami-m random variable is analyzed. Statistical characteristics of ratio of product of two k-μ random variables and Nakagami-m random variable can be applied in performance analysis of wireless relay communication system with two sections operating over k-μ multipath fading environment in the presence of cochannel interference subjected to Nakagami-m short term fading. Average level crossing rate of proposed ratio is calculated by using Laplace approximation theorem. The influence of k-μ multipath fading parameters and Nakagami-m parameter on average level crossing rate will be analysed.
