Abstract
The purpose of the project is to provide advice in relation to an evaluation of all major freight logistics / dry port options for Riyadh, including existing and proposed facilities or other suitable locations. The evaluation will include the identification and assessment of operational needs in the long term and will identify issues for investigation particularly in relation to strategic plans for the city and region, transport, economic activities and the natural environment. The report will also provide a framework for future decision making in relation to major freight and logistics facilities for Riyadh.
