Sandy Brechin
Edinburgh Festival Fringe - The Sandy Brechin Band
Brechin, Sandy; Currie, John
Abstract
The wild man of Scottish accordion is back with his tip-top tunes, frighteningly fast fingering and hilarious hi-jinks and humour, accompanied by his groovin' five-piece band. It's folk music, Jim, but not as we know it! Sandy is one of Scotland's best-known accordion players, tutors and composers, and has performed all around the world with his various bands, such as Burach, Seelyhoo and The Jimi Shandrix Experience. He has recorded and featured on a vast number of albums over the years, and still tours far and wide with his highly entertaining music and general joviality
