Biography Dr Anna Bak-Klimek is a BPS Chartered Psychologist (Teaching & Research Route). She is currently a part-time lecturer involved in teaching on a number of Postgraduate Programmes. She has teaching and research expertise in mental/physical health of vulnerable populations.
Areas of research expertise include systematic reviews, quantitative research approaches and mixed methods. She is passionate about adapting and developing psychological interventions for improving mental health of populations affected by long-term health conditions (e.g. cancer) and developmental disabilities. She currently supervises 4 PhD/Prof Doc students in the area of interventions development (in mental health and educational settings).
Anna also has a professional diploma in cognitive-behavioural therapy and postgraduate certificate in person-centred counselling. She has experience in delivering psychological interventions to migrant and student populations.
