Evaluating the Direct Entrant Transition Programme at Edinburgh Napier Business School.
2025 - 2025

Recognition Type Conference Organising Activity
Description It is a pleasure to confirm that your proposal to present at the ENclusion Conference on 23rd May 2025 has been accepted:

Title: Evaluating the Direct Entrant Transition Programme at Edinburgh Napier Business School.

Presentation format: Standard Presentation (20 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A)

Expected duration: Up to 30 minutes

Theme/session type: The Student Experience: Belonging, Mattering, and Becoming, from 11:00:00 AM, as shown below in our tentative ‘day’ program for the conference.

Stream: EDI in Higher Education;

Reviewer comment(s): Valuable work which fits perfectly with the key-note speaker's theme of student mobility. During the presentation it would be good to hear more about the evolution of this intervention over time (i.e. their profile has changed). Also it would be good to cover the challenges of student transitition and how that might inform work in other Schools.

Please confirm these details by return of this email and if you have not yet registered, please don’t forgot to Register for ENclusion today to secure your spot!

Kind regards,

The ENclusion Organising committee.

Description

On Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, I led and organised a staff induction event at the Craiglockhart Campus for colleagues from City of Glasgow College involved in delivering the new collaborative BA International Hospitality Management programme. The event welcomed around 30 staff members and aimed to familiarise our college partners with Edinburgh Napier University's teaching environment, facilities, and student support services.
