Abstract
The Eurocode System is designed to ‘eliminate technical obstacles to trade and the harmonisation of technical specifications’ in construction within the EEA. It covers all main construction materials, including concrete, steel, masonry, timber, aluminium, and glass, as well as geotechnical design.
This common set of rules facilitates the free movement of construction materials and design professionals within the EEA
