Abstract

Selected for Hidden Stories exhibition at the Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh showcasing the work of Creative Scotland con-TEXT residencies at Heriot-Watt University injunction with a curated Heriot-Watt University textile graduate exhibition by Mark Eley from leading British fashion and design company, Eley Kishimoto.

The exhibit showcased light-emitting material developments as part of a Creative Scotland ConTEXT Artist in Residency, Heriot-Watt University (£3.5k) in conjunction with a Creative Scotland Craft Maker Award (£1.5k).

The funded research aimed to advance and produce a new body of light-emitting material design and to facilitate the development of a textile lighting prototype in collaboration with Danish lighting designer, Tom Rossau.
