The aims of clinical and academic homes are to foster career development opportunities, enhance collaboration and develop capacity and capability in the four pillars of practice as identified in the NES Post Registration Career Framework.
Clinical Homes’ are intended for academic (N MAPS) staff and are set up in defined clinical or other professional services within NHS Lothian and confer an appropriate honorary title aligned to the relevant professional post graduate career framework.
The aims of clinical homes are to improve collaboration, develop research capacity and capability, promote quality clinical research with real service impact, engage academic staff more closely with the clinical environment and vice-versa.
