Abstract
The JCSPNet package from Quickstone provides the capability of transparently creating a network of processes that run across a TCP/IP network. The package also contains mechanisms for creating mobile processes and channels through the use of filters and the class Dynamic Class Loader, though their precise use is not well documented. The package jcsp.mobile rectifies this position and provides a set of classes and interfaces that facilitates the implementation of systems that use mobile processes and channels. In addition, the ability to migrate processes and channels from one processor to another is also implemented. The capability is demonstrated using a multi-user game running on an ad-hoc wireless network using a workstation and four PDAs.
