Project Description
The Scottish Government and NHS Education for Scotland, along with their counterparts in the rest of the UK, are committed to developing an evidence base for selection of student nurses who demonstrate the attributes (or pre-cursors to) that are valued for nursing. This project aims to support the development of this evidence base by exploring the relationship of emotional intelligence, a defined and measurable concept to successful student achievement of the competence and knowledge required for eligibility for entry to the NMC Register.
