Dr David Jarman's Recognition (54)

Referee to colleagues applying for Fellowship of the HEA
2016 - 2023

Description I have acted as a referee to colleagues from my Subject Group as part of their applications for fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. This involved discussing their motivations for applying, the evidence they were collating for their application, and the key strengths and attributes to focus on in the references themselves. This was done within the relevant HEA framework for recognition used as part of the university's ENroute process.

Teaching Fellows Community: Mentoring Circles coordination and delivery
2016

Description In 2016 I worked with Katrina Swanton to deliver a series of Mentoring Circles for the Teaching Fellows Community. These were primarily in support of colleagues working towards their HEA Fellowship. The Mentoring Circles gave contributors an opportunity to discuss and plan their applications, considering the most appropriate paths to take for them in recognition of their contributions to the university.
