James Brown
Biography | After initially developing a career in the timber trade, I moved into academia in 1999 as a lecturer in the areas of management Accounting and Financial Management. Since then I have been Programme Leader of the BA (Hons) Accounting Hong Kong programme, helped developed the MSc Banking Suite of programmes, led modules and achieved promotion to Senior Lecturer in 2012. Since then, I have been more heavily involved in the internationalisation aspects of the University's strategic direction and I was delighted to have been made School Academic Lead, Internationalisation for The Business School in June 2015 |

Teaching and Learning | I have developed a keen interest in the development of writing case studies that can be used in assessment. The assimilation of information and the analytical skills required to undertake an evaluation of complex data are essential for students who are ready to enter the world of work. |
