Abstract
Approximately 90,000 people in Scotland are currently living with dementia. This progressive disorder affects how the brain works; and our ability to remember, think and reason. Symptoms accompany several diseases affecting the brain, including Alzheimer’s; vascular dementia; frontotemporal dementia or Lewy bodies dementia.
